17th IALA Conference
|

|
 The 17th conference of the International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities (IALA) will be hosted by Transnet National Ports Authority from 21 to 27 March 2010 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, Cape Town, South Africa.
Transnet Limited owns the real estate of the eight South African commercial ports. These ports are: Richards Bay, Durban, East London, Ngqura, Port Elizabeth, Mossel Bay, Cape Town, and Saldanha.
It also owns all 45 lighthouses and other marine aids to navigation outside of these port limits, spanning a coastline of 2 954 kilometers. The port and lighthouses function is delegated to Transnet National Ports Authority - an operating division of Transnet.

Conference venueThe venue for the 17th IALA Conference is the modern and world class Cape Town International Convention Centre, Convention Square, 1 Lower Long Street, Cape Town, South Africa.
ExhibitionRegistration
For every 12m2 exhibition space booked you are entitled to two free delegate registrations to the conference. This will allow exhibitors the same privileges as the conference delegates. To manage the process, exhibitors are required to register its exhibition staff on the online registration page.
In conjunction with the 17 IALA Conference, the IALA Industrial Members will be hosting an industrial exhibition from 22 - 26 March 2010.
The 2010 IALA Conference theme of "Aids To Navigation - A Global Approach, all waters, all risks, all solutions" provides an ideal platform for industry leaders such as yourself to meet, network and share knowledge and experiences. In this respect organisers are confident that the speakers, conference and exhibition will be value adding and in support of the Conference theme.
Being an exhibitor will provide you with the unique opportunity to network and showcase your products, services, and achievements to decision maker in our industry from all over the world. This will certainly boost the business potential and profile of your company. All bookings can be done online on the conference website. The IM Exhibition will be hosted in Exhibition Hall 3 of the Cape Town International Convention Centre. The Hall is 2200m2 in size, with a total of 1826m2 dedicated exhibition space (including isles). The Floor to ceiling height of the exhibition hall is 12m and the floor is concrete. Thereby enabling large stands and products to be easily accommodated at the exhibition. Electrical Plug points and water points are embedded in channels in the exhibition hall floor.
Please note, only companies who are paid up IALA IM members, and who have been members for a period not less than three years are entitled to exhibit at this Exhibition and conference.
Layout
There are a total of 60 exhibition booths available. All booths are 12m2 (3m x 4m) and due to the unique design all are corner stands.
Costs
You will be offered a much more enhanced exhibition package for this exhibition than at the previous IALA Conference Exhibitions.
The cost for a 12m2 Exhibition booth is:
12m2 Full Sand Package - ZAR 48 000.00
12m2 Exhibition Space Only - ZAR 43 800.00
Included in the price
The cost for an exhibition booth includes a full conference delegate package for two people for each 12m2 booth booked. This entitles exhibitors to the full benefits as a conference delegate, which includes full access to the conference sessions, tea/coffees and lunch each day for the duration of the exhibition and access to all social events planned for the conference.
