Thornybush conference venue is in the heart of the Lowveld, adjacent to the world famous Kruger National Park and covering 11 500 hectares of pristine African bushveld which forms the Thornybush Game Reserve, South Africa, home to an abundance of bird and mammal species. It is a 5 hour scenic drive from Johannesburg through Mpumalanga.

By Road

Eastbound out of Johannesburg take the N4 to Witbank, bypass Middelburg and then turn left off the N4 to Belfast - proceed to Dullstroom and Lydenburg - R36 to Ohrigstad and Strijdom Tunnel - R531/R527 to and through Hoedspruit to junction. Turn right, Klaserie direction. After 6km, turn left into Argyle Road and follow Thornybush signboards to Thornybush Game Reserve, South Africa.

By Air

South African Express Airways provide daily flights from Cape Town and Johannesburg to Hoedspruit (Eastgate airport). If you wish Siyabona Africa to make flight arrangements on your behalf, mention this in your Reservation Enquiry. Otherwise, please contact your local agent to confirm availability and flight times. Transfers between the reserve and Eastgate Airport are booked by Siyabona Africa for which there is an extra charge.

By Private Charter

Thornybush has its own 1,2 km tarred runway located on the reserve. We would be happy to arrange the neccessary quotes and reservation for a charter directly onto the Thornybush Game Reserve, South Africa.
