Reinforcing the notion that there is business after the World Cup, Cape Town has won the international bid to host 6 medical conferences over the next 3 years. This is worth an estimated £9m in economic benefit to the city.

  • Commonwealth Dental Association Triennial Meeting (2012)
  • World Small Animal Veterinary Association World Congress
  • Conference on Human-Computer Interaction in 2013
  • Congress of the International Society of University Colon and Rectal Surgeons (2014)

Cape Town, with its improved infrastructure, excellent service levels and world-renowned hospitality is prominent in Africa's business tourism.
