These are some of the nearby attractions; Sani Pass Trips: Trips to Sani Pass, which climbs to an altitude of 2874 metres to visit the highest pub in Africa in a 4x4, can easily be arranged as a day visit. The dramatic 4x4 trip climbs 1330 metres in a mere six and a half kilometres. Named after the San people. Passports are required for trips to Sani Pass.

There is the Yellow Wood Church a historical landmark in Bulwer en route to Drakensberg Gardens built over a century ago. Pucketty Farm, an honesty-system farm shop with delights and delicacies to purchase.

Underberg Town, only 34km away – it has taverns, shops, banks, garages and restaurants, Sani Saunter, Duck Dolittle and Iris Farm.
