Four kilometres (2.5 miles) away is the historic town of Stellenbosch with its rich cultural heritage, classic Cape architecture and eclectic mix of unique shops, art galleries and world-famous wine estates. Within a 20 to 30-minute drive, are the beaches of Strand and Gordon's Bay and the picturesque Franschhoek Valley.

Directions from Cape Town via N2
- Take the N2 in the direction of Somerset West
- Take the off-ramp "Stellenbosch/Somerset West"
- At the intersection, turn left onto the R44 (Strand Road) in the direction of Stellenbosch
- Keep following the R44 (Strand Road)
- After approximately 15km, turn left into Tegno Road at the traffic lights
- At the first traffic circle, turn left into De Zalze Estate
Directions from Cape Town via N1
- Take the N1 going towards Paarl
- Take the Klipheuwel/R304 turn-off, and turn right going towards Stellenbosch and keep going on the R304 into Stellenbosch town
- At the intersection with Strand Road (R44), turn right (you'll see a Mercedes Benz dealership on the corner)
- Keep going straight on Strand Road towards Somerset West, passing Stellenbosch Golf Course on your right, and an Engen Garage on your left
- At the following set of traffic lights, turn right into Tegno Road
- At the first traffic circle, turn left into DeZalze via the security gate
