What to do at Table Bay Waterfront

Beyond the vibrancy and variety of the V&A Waterfront awaits an array of activities and scenic pleasures, which include the Cape's famous wine estates.

The Table Bay Hotel is part of Cape Town's hugely successful Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, with its myriad mix of international designer shops, museums, boat trips (inc. the Penny Ferry), helicopter flips, pubs, a brewery, restaurants, cinemas, live music and entertainment.

Other attractions in the Waterfront include the BMW Pavilion, the Imax Cinema, Robben Island Museum Tours, SA Maritime Museum, Scratch Patch, Telkom Exploratorium, Two Oceans Aquarium and the Waterfront Craft Market.

The Table Bay Hotel has two bars on the premises to ensure everyone and everything is catered for. There is a Pool Bar, which serves drinks, snacks and health food on the deck around the pool, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Then there is the Union Bar that is a favourite gathering place for business people during the day. After hours it sparkles with cocktails and conversation.

The Atlantic Grill room and Terrace is where fine a la carte dining experiences match the grandeur of Table Mountain itself. An open-face cellar displays 6000 of the best Cape wines and of course, a home to the cigar humidor which has a selection of the world's best, kept under optimum conditions.
