The diverse habitat of Acacia Savanna and Riverine is home to a wide range of African Wildlife. Some of the African wildlife you could spot include Wild Dog, Lion, Rhino and Cheetah. The Madikwe Game Reserve is also home to over 250 different bird species.

Directions to Tau Game Lodge
From Johannesburg
From Johannesburg, take the N1 north towards Pretoria. Take the split road from the N1 to Pietersburg / Polokwane. After the Zambezi off-ramp north of Pretoria, take the N4 toll road towards Rustenburg. Once you're on the N4, continue along this road to Rustenburg, Swartruggens, Groot Marico and Zeerust.
When you arrive in Zeerust, turn right at President Street onto the R47 to Gabarone. You will reach the first Madikwe Game Reserve after about 90km (55.92 miles) from Zeerust. Pass all the gates indicating Madikwe and drive to the Kopfontein border post going towards Gabarone.
Turn right into the Derdepoort Gate road. The road is situated just before the border post. Continue along the road for about 10km (6.21 miles) until you reach the Tau Game lodge gate.
